From May 25th through May 27th 2010, the 6th "Ford Global NVH Conference" took place in Dearborn, MI.

Despite the difficult status quo of the automotive branch the participation of hofer powertrain has been a success: all the three presentations held by hofer representatives attached interest of the specialist audience - so that the hofer exhibition stand was very well attended during the coffee breaks.

For sure you know how hard it is to judge the shift behaviour of a manual gearbox. Subjective impressions such as “bad”, “bumpy” or “unpleasant” can only help up to a certain limited degree of further development and optimisation.

Early in April three endurance test benches for micro power plants were put into operation. Thus, now it is possible to run endurance tests, as well as make durability and benchmark analysis at these three test places.

In the course of the 6th Braunschweiger Symposium „Hybrid Vehicles und Energy Management“ taking place annually in the Braunschweiger Stadthalle Dr. Heinz Schaefer, the CEO of hofer eds GmbH, has made a presentation on the topic  „Wheel – Hub Drives versus Axle Drives“.

Regardless of the difficult time the automotive industry is experiencing nowadays the CTI Transmission Symposium 2008 in Berlin has been a very successful event for hofer powertrian.

The hofer development centre in Stuttgart will extend their testing area in 2009 by adding two powertrain- test benches. To be able to suit the needs and wishes of their customers, hofer will have two 440 kW powertrain test benches available in February 2009.

At the conference “Innovations in Mechanical Engineering” Heinz Aitzetmueller presented the hofer-own product VDC Transmission (Variable Double Clutch).

自2008年9月1日起工程硕士Jörg Neugärtner 先生将作为A.T.Süd GmbH的负责人同Ralf Buck 博士一道领导hofer Lenting分公司。

Würzburg – 08年8月1日 – hofer powertrain 成立新的开发中心：hofer electric drive systems (hofer电力驱动系统)，简称„hofer eds“。正如公司名称所示，该开发设计团队将致力于电动动力总成在混合动力以及电动汽车中的设计和应用。

Chemnitz -  自08年4月1日起，hofer mechatronik GmbH (hofer 液压设计分公司)在Chemnitz开设办事处。

 Ludwigsburg – hofer powertrain GmbH 在VDI在Ludwigsburg举行的招聘会上取得了圆满的成功。hofer展台的参观人数再一次显示出我们不必在众多“大“牌公司中隐藏自己。

城市挑战赛 2007 (美国): 无人自动驾驶车在赛道上排好了位置。位于Wolfsburg的hofer getriebetechnik GmbH分公司同Braunschweig大学合作改造的一辆赛车参与了这一吸引了全球众多科技工作者参与的美国无人自动驾驶城市挑战赛。所有参赛车辆必须在无人驾驶的状态下以最快的速度完成城市中的一条模拟了城市真实路况的赛道，包括交通规则和反向车道。Braunschweig大学的Rumpe教授介绍说:“整个方案前提当然不是我们的赛车在赛后将不再能够继续行驶。我们的目标是在安全性能上高出一个数量级的汽车，在危险状况下能够作为虚拟驾驶员提供给人以支持或者直接操纵汽车，如果人愿意的话“。

通过同媒体集团Kirk公司的合作, 在巴伐利亚州完成了一个媒体项目. hofer AG在此短片中介绍了它的系统技术实力: 产品开发从设想直至量产, 加工的开发规划, 物流及质量控制, 测量&检测系统开发及安装. 基于在乘用车, 商务车, 摩托车及非公路车辆多个领域内的技术实力, hofer堪称是动力总成系统的开发伙伴.

hofer报告"APPLICABILITY OF THE NEW KYOWA HIGH PERFORMANCE SYNCHRONIZER" 在日本横滨FISITA 2006年会上在变速器界引起轰动并被收入年会论文集。学术组织"International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies" 发表了全球汽车工业领域内的100 篇最佳报告。下一届FISITA年会将于2008年在德国慕尼黑举行。
